Fresco Yo Essential Veg is a fermentation process, obtained with a particular probiotic ferment, Lactiplantibacillus plantarum, to prepare 100% plant-based, prebiotic, probiotic drinks certified VEGANOK.

The drinks prepared with Essential Veg ferments are rich in fiber and vitamin B2. They are low in lipid content and completely free of added sugars.

For the preparation of 100% plant-based Essential Veg food, we recommend using water.

This ferment allows you to obtain a 100% plant-based, probiotic, prebiotic drink, rich in fiber and vitamin B2.

100 ml of the drink meet the daily requirement of Vitamin B2.

Easy in just 4 steps

Step 1

Base preparation

  • Pour the water into the saucepan, add the content of the large Essential VEG bag little by little and stir until any lumps are dissolved.

The heat treatment helps improve the structure of the final product, giving it more creaminess and homogeneity.

Step 2

Heat the water

  • Put the saucepan on the stove, heat it to a temperature of 75/80°C and turn off the heat.
  • Let it cool down to 40°C. To cool faster, you can place the saucepan in a cold water bath.

Step 3

Prepare the beverage

  • Add the content of the Essential VEG Ferments sachet, stirring.

Attention: never add the cultures at a temperature above 45°C.

In the meantime, preheat the oven to 37-40°C, once the temperature is reached, turn off the oven.

Step 4

Fermentation

  • Pour the content into the jars, close with lids, place them in the oven, and let them ferment for at least 16 hours. Make sure the oven temperature does not drop below 37°C. Once fermentation is complete, refrigerate for at least 6/8 hours before consuming.

Any separation of the whey after product fermentation is entirely natural.

TIPS

  • Alternatively to the oven, it is also possible to wrap the jars with a blanket or leave them resting near a heat source – such as a radiator. (Step 4)
  • Shake before consumption. You can add sugar or sweetener to taste.
  • You can easily prepare your yogurt using kitchen appliances capable of heating the mixtures. In this case, we recommend following the recipes suggested by the manufacturers of your appliances. Our recipes still remain a valid reference for their preparation.
